An Investigation...(Open storyline event.)

(OOC: Since merrow and xyron are inactive to hell, They will take the role of NPC taken by me. As of now; ONLY guild hunters are to join, after this thread gets started, then the Independents and other hunters may join. After all a non-Guild Hunter, IE Independant hunter, is not allowed into a Guild hall.))

Tobakado Merrow and Xyron were sitting around a table. Sharing stories of their hunts. Tobakado's who's lucky Rathalos kill being the most impressive, but Xyron's massacre being the most emotional. Soon it turned into a contest of who could drink the most ale in the least amount of time. A crowd gathered around. Chanting the usual "Drink, drink, drink." Tobakado was fast falling behind. After all, he didn't like being drunk. In fact, he actually tries to avoid alcohol altogether. Merrow was just above the count on Xyron. Both seemed to be immune to being drunk after a massive number of Mugs. Felyines made some sort of bucket brigade to pass mugs from the barrel to the hunters.

Almost on cue when Tobakado quit the contest, the double doors of the Guild Hall swung open. In staggered a young man who dressed like a merchant. He was hysterical. The Guild assistant was speechless. Tobakado ran to him as he fell catching him. He glared at the assistant, and with a strong resolve "Water, NOW!" The assistant jumped at the word: now, and promptly made a mug of water. Tobakado took it and gave it to the merchant. The Merchant could not hold it so Tobakado tried to force it down his throat. After a few drinks and a huge mess later. The merchant calmed down. Tobakado was used to this, hysterical people seeing massive monsters and running for their lives. The Merchant could barely speak, but one word was clearly audible: "Murderer." Tobakado didn't turn his head but looked at Merrow in his peripheral view, who was looking at Xyron. The guild hushed, and a big sense of gloom hung over the Hall. What once was a wait for a chance of glory, now turned into a mourn of the consequences of a terrible deed.

Merrow kneed down, Focusing on the merchant, "Who was it? Who did he kill." After some time of crying, the merchant manage to say, "...Everyone."

Kiya entered the guild equiped with her 'best' armour and Longsword. Looking around she could see other hunters just hanging around making no noise what so ever. With her Kirin armour she could move around quietly. She snook up to the table where Merrow and Xyron were. 'Whats happened in here then' whispering to them.

Xyron looked at Kiya a bit annoyed about the innocent but untimely ignorant entrance. He understood what she meant though. Whispering back he held up his hand to cover his mouth, "We have a mass murderer on the loose, apparently he's a survivor."

Tobakado remained focused on the Merchant. With a calm voice he said, "Where? Can you tell us where this 'Murderer' is? If you do we can probably do something to try to bring this person to justice!"

"Tenepy." The man said. But that was the only thing that he said...

Kiya stood up straight in shock, saying in her head 'Murder', trying to take it all in. Whilst doing that she over heard what the Survivor said, 'Tenepy'. She looked towards Tobakado, with a sudden burst of energy, 'I know where Tenepy is, its not too far from here. it was once a small, quiet village near the Volcanic belt!' She looked to see if anyone heard.

Tobakado turned his head sharply and looked at her, "Can you take us there? Xyron, take care of this man." Xyron held out his hand to the merchant, who accepted it and got up. Xyron took him to a seat and came back. Merrow looked at Kiya and said, "We will come with you." He mentioned to include Xyron who nodded and crossed his arms.

'Well what are we waiting for, come on!' Kiya looked at the Merchant, 'Stay there, dont tell anyone about this'. she turned back around took out her sword from its holder examining it while walking to the exit. Tilting it slightly, light reflected off it's extremly sharp blade edge. There was no known reason she done this, it was one of the many things she does for unknown reasons.

Tobakado, Xyron and Merrow followed her out of the Guild hall (OOC NOW ppl can join) each checking their equipment. Once outside, they checked their surroundings. The sun was bright for coming out of a dark building. There was people everywhere, it was fairly crowded. But hunters were easy to spot, after all they wore odd armor to match their kills, And commoners were just wearing cloth clothing. Anyhow, After they got adjusted to the sunlight, Xyron said, "OK, which way is Tenepey?"

Sihydan approached the group of men with sleep still visible in his eyes. Sihydan stretched his arms out and yawned "So what is going on here?" he asked as he pointed to the frantic merchant and his friends standing around him. Sihydan clasped his bracers on his wrist, he could feel something was going on. "Am I invited?" he said as he coiled in the chains that dragged the ground. Sihydan popped his neck and fingers and leaned forward placing his hands over his mouth "Who died?" he asked jokingly not knowing the severity of the situation.

Tobakado stepped forward, "Oh Hey sihydan, Sure you can come with us. Ma'am this here is shiydan. And Sihydan, um she's someone I don't know the name to. Apologies to both of you." He put his hand up and whispered, "That was NOT a good time to joke about that. Apparently theres a mass murderer in Tenepy not too far from the volcanic belt. Not just a Monster murderer, an actual human being slaughter."

Tobakado held out a hand to greet him. Merrow and Xyron stood quiet, Tobakado said everything he was going to say so nothing was worth saying. Except for a couple greeting gestures.

(OOC: {Start/down, down, down, down/Gestures/Right, right/X} *Character Nods animation* )

Sihydan smiled nervously, "Alright, then what are we waiting for." he said as he checked all of his armor and pouches to make sure everything was set up perfectly. Sihydan shook Tobakado's hand and nodded as well, "Though I don't think my skill of riding, will come in handy stopping this guy."

'Oh, sorry guys, im Kiya, nice to meet you's' she bowed down to them all. 'Right, i'll answer questions and introduce myself propley on the way. Tenepy is through the small forest to the left of this village, which will take us to a river' Still holding her sword in her right hand, she used it to point to a small allyway. 'Thats the quickest way, lets go'

Ogre watched the group. Not to be comical but... He was in a tree with leaves of tea. He originally went up there to enjoy the aroma but now was stepping into something interesting. Rather than be friendly and drop down and introduce himself he made sure he wasn't seen. He wanted to know what was going on. So he paid close attention listening to everything he possibly could. He didn't shake the branches though nor did he make any audible steps. He was as silent as they get.

"Right then," Xyron joked half heartedly. Tobakado glared at him for making such a joke, and Merrow simply ignored him and walked to the alleyway. Tobakado slowly looked away and followed, with xyron feeling a little bad about making such a joke. He put a little distance as to not anger Tobakado more. Whether Ogre followed was up to him. The group were to follow Kiya at this point.

Kiya put her sword in its holder and looked behind to see if everyone was following. Noticing Xyron she shouted as loud as she could, the allyway made it sound louder as it echoed, 'Hurry up Xyron, we dont have all day!' Turning back 'round she noticed the allyway becoming more greener with moss and mold. 'We're near the forest now guys!'

Sihydan followed the group wearily, not that he didn't trust them, he didn't trust the world. If something were to happen he wanted to be towards the back so he could see it, but not in the back so he was the first to get ambushed if they were hit from behind, he was looking out for himself that was for sure. Sihydan brushed the bangs out of his face as he gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, ready and waiting for anything.

The forest line was fairly clean of animals. The city noises were scaring them away. It was mainly vegetation at this point. It would be a while before they get to Tenepey. In fact, if they were to be traveling nonstop, they would arrive at night. The Group was safe for the moment.

(When I say group i mean Xyron, Merrow, and Me.)

The group were behind Kiya, Merrow behind Kiya, Tobakado behind merrow, and Xyron was behind Sihydan. (<-OOC: assuming) Xyron could not help but feel uneasy, A forest this quiet would mean a large predator nearby, and prey fleeing, But he did not know that the cause was from the city disturbance.

Merrow spoke up, "How far is tenepey exactly? Should we prepare for a night in the wild or what?" He scratched his head trying to think of ways to get there faster. He noticed Sihydan behind him. "You might get to ride something along the way? Would it be possible to tame something small like a bulldrome or something for us?"

Tobais heard metal unsheathing. One of his fellow hunters behind him brought out his weapon. It was understandable, there could be a buried creature nearby or something. He clicked out the sword from the sheath, not removing it, but rather removing it from the magnetic pull that keeps the sword in the sheath, thus making it easier and faster to draw.

Sihydan smiled at Merrow as he spoke and scratched the back of his head. "Would you guys like to wait around while a Bulldrome bucked me around for half an hour?" Sihyan asked with a chuckle. Taming a Bulldrome was possible, but they are notoriously strong willed. "I mean it is up to you, if you can find one." he said as he kept pace to stay into the middle, finding a Bulldrome would be the first task before he even considered trying to break one.

OOC:What's the posting order?

IC:Ogre looked at them paying lots of attention. He followed them very stealthly from the trees. They were on edge and rather jumpy... Maybe thinking they would be ambushed. It was funny watching this group. Still he would be in trouble if he were caught though. Not that many justifiable reasons for stalking from a tree exist. However being a thief and a really good one it was very unlikely that he'd be caught. He so far knew that they were looking for a murderer. So he also wanted to see how they handled that.

Kiya carried on in a straight line, standing on twigs and leaves as she moved fast but cautiously with her hands in the air, about shoulder height, for balance and for a closer reach of her sword handle. Reaching a huge willow tree she turned around to see if 'the group' was close behind. This Willow tree was like a marker, which would show that they were going the right way. They were making good progress but they had to get outta there before night fall.

Tobakado held his hand out about chest height to keep himself on the ready for grabbing his sword, but also to protect himself from the briers, "That would be a good idea. Do you mind taming a bulldrome for us, but then Would that be faster?"

Merrow cocked his head, trying to see the path ahead of them, "I agree" He said.

Xyron turned his head to look above and behind him. He knew he was being watched, but not where it was. After all, an areal assault from behind would be the most effective way to be ambushed, And Xyron was right at the end. This is why he felt uneasy. He was being watched by Ogre, who was in the ideal position. As he looked behind him, his Peripheral vision ended just to the right of Ogre. how lucky for him. Xyron turned his head back to Sihydan, "is there something else that you could tame that's faster? After allthe killer could be getting away as we speak."

OOC:After this post I'll be posting after Cult...

IC:Ogre moved ahead of the group stealthly through the trees to beyond Kiya. He then dropped down in a particular way. Like a kid on the jungle gym he would be upside down hanging from a branch. He immediately adressed the group. He didn't need for a bunch of on edge hunters with guns, bombs and swords freaking out. He still held his cool though and spoke in a really odd tone reminiscent of the Cheshire Cat for those whom understand the reference. "Plenty uh things ta tame out here... Depends on what your tryin ta get done. However a Bulldrome be a bad idea. Too stubborn. It would take too long and the killer would get away. That's what your after... Right? Yes yes I know. Some strange guy hanging from a tree giving people the heeby jeebies knows your business. How spooky... Hell I could even be the killer... You'ld never know the difference. For now you can know me as a man whom wants to fill his pockets." This was a lot of fun. He never in his life meant to be creepy but somehow he always did. If it wasn't for the fact that he was Cheshire Cat creepy and attractive he wouldn't be doing well with his life in terms of love though.

After his enjoyable intro he got straight to business "Say I help catch this killer whom may or may not exist. Trust me I'm a good hunter monsters, people and the like... Say I help. I get his stuff and the murder weapon as a trophy of sorts. I won't keep all of it you guys can have some too. Which brings me to my second point... I won't lie. I'm a thief and a damn good one. So that's where I draw the line. What I steal is mine and no one rats me out. Plus to make the whole thing more agreeable I'll keep my hands out of your pockets."

Sihydan hardly flinched when the man dropped from the tree, he honestly couldn't care less. Sihydan drifted off for a bit as the man spoke, after a few seconds he shook back to reality. Sihydan smiled nervously once he realized he hadn't heard a word the man said, he leaned over and nudged Tobais, "Answer him" he whispered as he cluched the hilt of his weapon, not knowing whether the man was friend or foe.

OOC: Start the order from now

IC: Kiya grabbed her sword and spun around at the same time, Lightning fast reaction. Listening to what this theif was saying she walked over to him and put her sword tip at his neck. 'I... myself, think its a fair deal, but... anything, i mean anything go's missing from me i will hunt you down like a Nargacuga hunting down Kelbi's, Okay?' She took the sword away from the theifs neck and held it tight in her hand. 'Well, anyway the more, the better i say'

Merrow and Xyron heard the rustling and almost like they practiced it, Merrow pulled out his Bustersword and held it on his back. Acting as a shield to the direction it came from, Xyron circled around merrow using the sheild to cover him as he readied for an attack. Merrow kneeled down, allowing the sword to rest on the ground and Xyron ran around and stepped on the blunt side of the blade. He was expecting to use merrows swing as a catapult to attack. They waited for Tobakado's response.

Tobakado grabbed his sword and unsheathed his sword and swung it at Ogre almost instantly. Stopping almost a foot short of his neck from a different direction. He didn't trust a thief. Especially one so trusting to the hunters. It was like walking into an uncovered pitfall trap. He listened to his little ramblings and almost riddle-like sentences, after what Kiya said and Sihydan's push to force the decision, he finally settled on, "Kiya's right, there's no honor amongst thieves, and you are HIGHLY suspicious. So to prevent stealing and proving your worth; You first. Kiya will direct you verbally from arm-reach behind. and If we find something more tamable in the wild. Maybe Sihydan can tame it to ride it. There's nothing stopping you from following us, so I am not gonna tell you to go away. However, you are outnumbered and probably outclassed in terms of combat. So picking a fight is NOT the best idea." He pulled his sword back a little giving him a little room. "Agreed?"
