Rathalos hunting

With such great timing Gartland also unleashed a barrage of normal lvl 2's at the bullfango, hoping to harm it or stun it as he noticed the third hunter near by, he smirked as he continued to fire for the bullfango.

(New order: Monsters, Tokyobabe, Scot, Ratho. I know ratho posted first in the last round but he was technically the last hunter to post so he is moved to the last of the list.)

The bullfango was effectively flanked. Taking hits from three directions. Ratho's hits were inaccurate due to the fact that the bullfango was moving. Ratho Clipped its back left thigh, stunning it so it could get barraged by a bunch of bullets from both the front and back. It died so hard.

Mayumi loaded some Normal Lv 2's into her bowgun and walked towards the hunter. 'Hi, im Mayumi pleased to meet you' She held her hand out.

OOC: Sorry, i haven't been on alot guys... i've had trouble with school work and all, but i'm back!

IC: Gartland wiggled onto the solid ground, as he didn't want to relax on the edge of a cliff, it didn't really suit his adventurous style, "You ok Mayumi?" Gartland asked stepping a little closer as he basically threw her earlier, he sighed and then looked around, "I'm sorry about that." he bowed politely before looking at Ratho, "Hello?" he seemed a little shocked to find another hunter nearby.

The environment is calm. No monsters nearby, If the party looked around the could notice that they were clearly above the tree line, there is a visible mountain to the north, a linear depression in the trees that indicates a river to the east and grassland to the south. if they could remember the direction the wyvern flew in, it headed in the direction of the river to the east.

Mayumi looked over towards the trees 'lets head over there' she grabbed gartlands and the other hunters hand and ran down a steep slope towards trees. she giggled all the way down

"Wait... shouldn't we inspect the area first, try and figure out where that figure went." Gartland sharply announced to Mayumi as she tugged him towards the tree covered slope, Gartland too busy looking in the sky for the figure.

IC: she looked at Gartland and gave him that cute, innocent look. 'Please trust me.' She carried on sliding down til she reached the bottom.

Gartland chuckled,"How could i say no to that face." he smiled before scanning around, he wasn't able to find the figure, but he had a hunch that the figure would emerge again sooner or later, and Gartland was preparing ahead as he held a paintball bullet in his hand, ready to load it into his light bowgun.

As they continued downward. They could feel the wind pick up. And soon they came to a river. The area near the river held many sources of life such as mosswine and felynes. But this was different. It was way too quiet. There were sounds of a wyvern's flapping but it was going away. It came there to get a drink and a bite of fish. And the time it took to get the hunters there it was on its way. They could see the tail of the flying wyvern in the distance If they looked hard enough.

Mayumi heared the sound of a wyvern flying away and looked straight ahead. in the distance she saw a red wyvern flying away. 'come on!' she continued to drag the other hunters

"Yes, Let's Go!" Gartland Huffed, breaking free of her grip as he got out his gun, loading it up with paint bullet's he aimed for the far off wyvern, as he traveled towards it he found a opening, shooting the bullet, he hoped he could hit it in the mean's to track it down.

The paintball hit the wyvern splattering paint and dripping down from the tail to the ground leaving a faint but traceable trail to follow. The paint on the floor was a bright pink to the dense green. The foliage would be hard to get through in the direction it went: North-west. If they could remember the location. It would be to the mountains in the north.

Also a pair of claws came up from the ground snipping at Mayumi's legs. It was a hermitaur surfacing for air and food now that the wyvern was gone.

Mayumi tripped over the claws as it pinched her legs. The pinching gave mayumi a couple of scratches, not major but the fall... she landed on some small rocks which hurt her more. she got back up and carried on with a little limp.

Turning around Gartland Rushed back, kicking at the hermitaur, before shooting a crag bullet at the hermitaur hoping to kill it, curiously watching he waite to see if the bullet hit, his light bowgun up against his side.

The crag shot hit right in the shell. Exploding almost too close for comfort. Unfortunately for the hunters, it was not dead. Before the smoke could clear, it charged through attacking sideways at gartland.

Mayumi never like crab like creatures. she pulled out her bowgun and fired normal lv 2 towards the hermitaurs direction. 'rapid fire lv 2's baby'

Gartland smirked as he shot a couple of Lvl 2's at the hermiteur before closing the distance between the crab and him as he then swung for it, with the butt of his bowgun, trying to crack it's skull, maybe even get lucky and scavenge it's brain

the hermitaur took the bullets from multiple directions. It died swinging at gartland. The brain was cracked open when he meleed it to the face. This calmed down the threat level for now.

Mayumi let Gartland take the brain and carried on advancing in the Rathalos's direction. she turned to Gartland. 'Thanks for the help'

"No problem we are working together, i wouldn't let anything happen to you." he said with a charming smile as he then folded up bowgun back up before resting it on the back of his waist, he sighed looking at the remains of the hermitaur before walking alongside Mayumi to the Rathalos's direction.
