Biographies: Umi grew up in Moga Village, a town well known for its hunters and its fish, and still holds a place in Umi's heart even when he's traveling around the world. He became a hunter in order to hunt the Elder Dragon, Amatsumagatsuchi, the one responsible for attacking his village years ago, in order to seek revenge, he travels the world, tracking the monster in order to find its lair and slay it. In order to do this, he is currently looking for a high-class monster hunting team, and strives to get stronger to one day fight this deadly creature.

Style: Umi has to different styles depending on whether he is in a group, or hunting solo. When hunting solo he uses his Heavy Bowgun, taking pot-shots at his enemies from a distance like a sniper, keeping himself hidden while he takes the monster down with a hail of gunfire. When hunting in a group, he switches to a support role, protecting and healing his friends with the sound of his hunting horn, while smashing monsters over the head with it.
