how about the idea of "borrowing" equipment from the Guild to hunt them? In mh terms it would be a special group training session...

It will work similar to the quest section of shrpg. Monsters profile or the custom creator will put up a quest along with at least 4 sets of equipment. then only guild hunters would fill the slots...

problem how would rewards work?

While that's ok, I think that there should be normal quests with custom monsters, with the rewards you would expect for them (wings, plates, scales).

But the thing is, we would need to have the custom creators go back and add in roughly the stats for the equipment made from said parts would be (Damage/Element/Status/Sharpness for weapons, and Defence/Ele Res/Skills for armors) per rank of monster. This could pose a problem for Ranged weapons and things like HH, but are still do-able. But even then, that's a stretch.

So, for very well made apps (with the equipment list) we can probably do normally. But for the rest, I say training-style would be a good option. Though, they would have to go back and add that stuff.

That may take a while to fix, to bandage the problem, how about just put the equipment sets on a new hunting quest. It would take less time and effort...

shall we test this out?

btw will someone look at my lao tian lung creature and evaluate it?

one last idea? Can the creator control the created monster as long as they don't hunt it as well? Of course they would be expected to follow God-modding rules?
